Joyce Shuman
When I step off the yoga mat I feel energized, and connected to my inner-self. Originally drawn to Yoga in 1998, for the health benefits, I found relief from low back pain and arthritis, Grateful for ease of physical movement, I studied with Farzenah Noori and Bruce Schwartz at the Yoga House, as well as Tias Little. In 2014, I completed my yoga teacher certification. The training has ignited a passion for continuing study of the relationship between yoga and body mechanics. My intention is to create a safe space where students can be guided to experience greater freedom of movement in their bodies and minds. I'm grateful for the possibility of better health through the breath of yoga.
