Reiki Infused Sound Bath

Sound baths or energy work is an ancient healing method used for centuries utilizing vibrational frequencies that are produced by the various instruments like quartz bowls, metal bowls, chimes, gongs, etc. which produce particular musical notes and frequencies that stimulate a response influencing the brain waves to synchronize with the sounds from the sound bath which in turn settles the brain wave activity and calms the nervous system, bringing the body and mind into a deep state of relaxation.

Reiki is also an energy work therapy used throughout the world that relieves stress, calms the nervous system to promote healing and restoration on all levels. Healing modalities such as Reiki and sound healing are used as treatments that allow for release of stress and removal of energetic blocks on the physical, mental and emotional levels by bringing the body and mind into deeper states of relaxation, thereby promoting our body’s natural ability to heal itself.

Evie Sahagun is a certified yoga and meditation teacher, Pilates teacher and Reiki master. She has been practicing and teaching for the past 12 years. She brings her special Reiki infused sound bath to Yoga House!
