Spinal Countdown with Sarah Court
Saturday April. 16, 2-4pm (PST)
In-Studio & Livestream
In yoga we often idealize a ‘supple spine’ as the backbone (pun intended) for our practice. But what does that actually mean? And might there also be some occasions when the ability to stabilize through the trunk is what your body actually needs?
In this workshop we will explore both the supple and the strong qualities of the spine, using new takes on familiar yoga poses, as well as additional non-yoga movement techniques to target each of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine’s unique needs. You’ll unlock your individual spine’s needs to mobilize and stabilize, and create a spine that is able to handle whatever a yoga practice – or daily life – throws at it. You’ll learn techniques to support your yoga poses, as well as daily movement ‘vitamins’ that will keep you upright and moving through life!
Following the workshop, you’ll receive a link to the recording for 15 days, so you can take the class as many times as you want!
