Experience Peru: Sacred Valley Yoga Retreat

Highlights of our retreat:

Day 1, We arrive into Cusco and acclimate to the altitude. Late afternoon we walk the cobblestone streets of San Blas and visit the Korikancha Temple, the holiest site during the Incan times.

Day 2, We visit the Incan site of Saksaywaman and Tampumachay. A traditional coca-leaf ceremony invites you to tap into the presence and energies of Mother Earth. We drive to the sacred valley in the afternoon.

Day 3, Dedicated to Mother Earth. Relax in the splendors of nature and enjoy a tour of the Seven Chakra Gardens at the retreat center. Optional private coca-leaf reading with an authentic Qero healer visiting from the high Andes. After dinner, a full group Andean offering and transformative fire ceremony. The ceremony serves as a wonderful preparation of mind, body and spirit for our pilgrimage to Machu Picchu.

Day 4, We visit P'isaq overlooking impressive Incan terraces. Hike to the Temple of the Sun and walk in a silent personal vision quest.

Day 5, We leave for Machu Picchu. Enjoy a fabulous guided tour of the ancient “City of Light.”

Day 6, Visit the ceremonial site of Ollantaytampu and its famous Sun Temple. Lunch on own in the quaint picturesque town.

Day 7, A morning hike to the town of Urubamba through farming neighborhoods, visit a typical, lively Peruvian market and the famous Seminario ceramics shop. We close after dinner with Andean music performance.

Day 8, Departure
10 am check out time. One group bus transfer at check-out takes the group to the Cusco airport to connect to Lima, and flight home.
